Feel good February! I’ve decided February will be about feeling good. Give yourself a pat on the back.
You've made it through January, and for some it often feels like the longest month in the calendar. Did you start out the year with good intentions? Planning on all these resolutions you'll do in 2020? Maybe you've stuck with it and deserve an extra treat?
In the goal-setting world, 19th January is known as "quitting day" because that's the day most people have already given up on their resolutions. Cue beating yourself up for not achieving what you set out to do? Forget that!
February is a brand new month.
There is no rule that says you can't set monthly resolutions, or even weekly resolutions for that matter. Start small. Small changes all add up and make a big difference.
I've decided I want to focus on FEELING GOOD in February. I've just launched a range of stationery items that can help make this happen.
Instead of setting unrealistic to do lists for each day, I'll choose The Big Three. Anyone can achieve three things in one day.
Then, at the end of each day, I'm going to reflect on Three Good Things to get back into the habit of feeling positive and grateful for the good, even on the bad days.
And when I'm in a really bad mood? I know it's Better Out Than In so I'm going to vent. Once I've written down what's bothering me, rather than dwelling on it (which is my default), I'm going to read it over, tear it up and throw it out so it doesn't get any more of my attention.
I'll also carry on tracking My Mood so the bad days don't sneak up on me like they have the tendency to do. I want to be kinder to myself. I want to feel good.
Why don't you join me for Feel Good February and start making some small changes that will have some big impact on your positivity and feel good feelings? 💕 angelachick.com - 23 days ago
