We 💙 classics and today we want to share the Gallaratese Quarter by Aldo Rossi & Carlo Aymonino, a great housing project developed in Milan as a result of a series of plans drafted in response to the after war crisis, laying out satellite communities for the northern Italian city housing between 50,000 to 130,000 people. The two architects’ utopian urban ideologies coalesced into a complex of five buildings: A1, A2, B, and C were designed by Aymonino, while D was Rossi’s contribution. .
