Tabata is a high-intensity interval training that consists of 8 sets of fast-paced exercises each performed for 20 seconds interspersed with a brief rest of 10 seconds. 
You will take a full 2 minute rest in between Tabata #1 and Tabata #2. Your challenge will look like this 👉🏼 Tabata #1- 4 minutes

Today was a bad day, an overwhelming day, a too tired, I can’t go on day. It’s like my mind and body just could not work together. Kinda like when Netflix pauses to load constantly... that was me tonight at Cage 😩😖 I felt so sluggish and slow, I’d woken with a headache and it progressively got worse through the day and pain relief did nothing. That coupled with sore knees and a sore ankle and no money to see anyone, well today was just, yeah a shit day.

this last week I have really been down with food and working out, honestly I’m ashamed of myself but I can only look forward and make sure I stay on track with everything. Week 4 of our #10weekchallenge brings us to the fourth of the Yamas, Brahmacharya, which literally means ‘conduct consistent with God.’ God in this sense may be whatever you imagine ‘It’ to be. The ‘Isness’, as #mooji describes it. The Oneness. A religious God. Mother Nature. Or the highest form of Life itself. ✨
Traditionally, this Yama has been understood as the conservation of Prana (vital energy) by means of celibacy and abstinence. ✨
 In the modern world, if the thought of renouncing the pleasures of sex and sensuality makes you want to run for the hills, and brings you more hurt than happiness, we can look to this yama more as a practice of moderation in everything we do.

We can strip it back to basics and understand Brahmacharya for its higher purpose 👉🏽 the awareness and reverence of our highest Self, a loving respect and regard for the body and the life force within it. ✨
For many of us, let’s face it, at the best of times even our self-restraint needs restraining and our moderation needs moderating! ✨
In the same way too much of a bad thing is toxic, too much of a good thing can be equally so. Whatever we’re doing - work, sleep, food, sex, social media, socializing, exercise or even the various disciplines of yoga - Brahmacharya reminds us that everything loses its fabulousness when we go too hard, consume too much, and indulge to the point of excess too often. There’s a Taoist saying, “Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill. Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt.” ✨
