Relaxing the mind & body with a
Mobility and stability session!
I have heard a lot of feedback that exhaustion, stress and body fatigue is setting in from everything going on. I feel you, my body feels it too.
Mental stress can expose itself physically, it’s called psychosomatic. In this circumstance rather than putting my body into overdrive with my workouts, I’ll take a day to do lower intensity movement.
-Dead bug: Core strengthening
-Downward dog w/ push through: opens up overhead, posterior chain stretch
-Hip Flexor Stretch w/ reach: Hip flexors tend to be tight, reaching up hits the anterior oblique sling
-Banded Hip hinge (can do without band): bending at the hips and not the low back, prevents low back injury. Also, working on posterior chain & core.
With stimulus in our life all day everyday, a session like this really helps the body recover from life & workouts.
