After the wake of the bushfire disasters, we noticed a rise of businesses declaring action - working towards carbon zero projects and practices and helping rebuild communities. I spoke to the top of the design industry to find out what this really means- Jeremy McLeod from Breathe Architecture, Jiri Lev from Architects Assist, Mark Loughnan from Hassell Studio, and Romy Alwill from Alwill A&I.
In my article for Hunter & Folk, we spoke about how and why their actions will contribute to avoiding the climate crisis; which feels like it's already begun. I've popped the link in my bio, and if you are a designer, a creative, or someone who buys anything, you should read it. In a capitalist society, we have buying power, so consider using it well or not at all 😉
