Summer is just around the corner in Sydney! Make sure you start your transformation now rather than regret not starting earlier later. 
Summer bod tips:
1. Train at least 3 x weights a week and add in classes for cardio or like me beach hikes. 
2. Build muscle and let the weights transform your body into a tight lean Baywatch babe. 
3. Do not assume cardio alone or classes will give you a bikini body. Weights with a progressive overload plan and food are key. 
4. Train with realistic goals each month. Loosing 1kg a week can be done but if you want to enjoy life be more realistic with what is achievable for your lifestyle and ongoing. 
5. Scrap fad diets, detox juices, detox weight loss teas and all that crap because that’s just what it is crap. Athletes aren’t doing any of this to look the way they do. Don’t be fooled. Invest in training, food and good sups. 
6. I take @bpi_sports nitroHD with weight training for increasing blood flow giving you a better pump! Love it and the ISOHD protein in my breakfast rice puffs and pancakes! 
7. Create s good bed time routine for sleep and relaxation.
8. Get yourself a kickass bikini that makes you feel good! 
9. Eat you’re carbs and educate yourself on nutrition and food that works for you. Macros can be split to work with if you prefer high fat and protein or high carb or low carb. You need a diet that you feel good on. 
10. Get a few good books to read and switch off the phone.

A #FlexFriday about #Cardio ?! 🤭😱😜Yesssss... Cardio during contest prep vs offseason cardio 💪 I had a great discussion yesterday with @canttouchdis22 my long time friend and incredible personal trainer about our clients and athletes who we prep to compete and the role cardio plays 🤔 the most important takeaway I felt was this... People fit into one of three groups - prepping(cutting), maintaining, or bulking(growing) and the biggest issue is when cardio isn’t allocated correctly based on your goals, especially the last group.  If you are trying to put on muscle in the offseason and grow so that when you get back on stage your physique has improved, how does maintaining the amount of cardio you did during prep help? It doesn’t and is counterintuitive.  You are going to put on muscle and some fat when you are growing or bulking, and doing tons of cardio will only impede your bodies ability to make gains because you risk burning off the muscle you are trying to grow.  You can’t send your body mixed signals like “hey let’s makes gains!” and also tell it “hey let’s get ripped!” Just some food for thought and hopefully this helps those of you who have questions about the amount of cardio your should be doing based on your goals 💯 #CardioProblems #CardioisHardio #BPITips #BPISports #TeamBPI #BPIAthlete @bpi_sports @xsportfitness

My #BPITips for the week is all about training abs 💯 Try to choose weighed abdominal exercises over crunches or sit-ups to see improvement in density and an increase definition 💪 One of my go to abdominal exercises is barbell roll outs, really focusing on slowly rolling out and feeling the stretch, followed by contracting the abs and bringing them barbell back 🤗 if you haven’t done this before, start using a wheel or lighter weighted bar and work up to increasing the weight, doing 4 sets of 12 🖤 #abs #sixpack

With holidays right around the corner it’s super important to stay on track with the gym and watching what I eat.

Honestly, when I get people asking what I eat/how I prep my meals/how many calories I consume a day ect.. I never lie.
.
I don’t. I don’t count my calories. I don’t prep my meals in containers every week. I don’t know exactly how many calories I’m consuming.
.
What I do know is I don’t eat crap. I know what I’m eating is going to be beneficial for me and my body.

You will never see me sitting in the drive thru line at McDonald’s 🤷🏽‍♀️ sorry!

When you have a general idea of what you’re putting into your body and know that it’s not a bunch of sh*t.. then.. Yes. You bet you can have those couple of beers/glasses of wine a couple days out of the week. Or those Reece’s that you love so much.. or is that just me 😂💁🏽‍♀️

Your bodies muscle and cells are made up of aminos. Without them there is no building blocks to the protein. Meaning? When you eat any food containing protein it is then broken down into aminos acids.

There are about 20, and only 8 of them are being made in your body.

After a lift or any endurance performance exercise, when protein synthesis within your body is super low, it is extremely important to be consuming bcaa’s.

And this is the best way to do that☺️

Here are my #bpitips to make an awesome front squat - come under the bar and have a proud chest, shoulders are forward and up, rest the bar on your front shoulders and with a proud chest it will rest on your chest. Hands are either side of your shoulders and roll the bar onto your fingers. Elbows and head remain up, push knees out all the way down and up. Your back comes in between your legs not forward. If your tipping forward keep elbows up and chest proud. If you wrist hurt you may have a rounded back so stretch your lats out and again make sure your chest is proud and elbows up 💪🏼🙌🏼🏋🏻‍♀️ Let’s get some #quadzilla build on team!
