#MedalMonday I ran a half marathon on Friday night as I signed up for this amazing virtual race called She Power. I like the idea behind empowering women, making them believe in themselves and acknowledging their strength.
Friday, 14 years ago, my mom was diagnosed with terminal brain metastasis. She was my guardian angel (still is) and she was my role model of both kindness and strength. So I dedicated this race to her, she was amazing and I hope wherever she is now that she’s proud of the person I have become. #ShePower #HalfMarathon #Runner #BeFitBeYou #RememberingYou

I understand the NHS is stretched and back logs are occurring, but gobsmacked after seeing a client tonight. Been suffering with lower back pain and went back to the doctor for referral. Doctors answer when he said he couldnt wait almost 9 month to be seen? "Go get a lighter job". 😡 It isn't that simple Doc. 
Back pain is one of the most common injuries I see, and truthfully it's not a miracle session and cured (I wish it was). It doesnt have to be blocked by medication though! Exercises and regular treatment can help manage and relieve back pain! ABS WORKOUT🥳... let’s do this! Hope you enjoy my first of many more to come workout videos to help my IG friends (that’s YOU) over 40. We might be older but we’re NOT giving up on our health & staying FIT. Who’s with me? .
Before starting this at home or at the gym, this can be performed based on your level & your efforts determine your outcome. It’s not always easy but when you start seeing the results (with lots of patiences) its the best feeling. Please do not go into this thinking you will have abs after a couple weeks or a couple months LOL… It’s a combination of just continued efforts to make your core abdominals stronger but if you want a visual appearance then your diet is crucial. I personally do15 to 20 reps, four sets. Just do what you can as you begin and work your way up to this level. Enjoy.

Ab Workout:
1️⃣ Crunch Kicks (15-20X) 
2️⃣ Elbow Planks (15-20X) (moving hips side to side keeping a nice movement controlling your core, including holding in abdominals/core section
3️⃣ Russian Twists w/ kettle ball use desired weight (15-20X) options to place feel flat on ground or for more advanced pick up feet off the ground. Me? I’m flat on the ground lol...🥳👊🏼 but I’m working my 49 yo self to advance.😊
4️⃣ Flutter Kicks (20x)
5️⃣ Scissors (20x)
6️⃣ Toe Touches (15-20X) Easier than it looks so try it, do your best. You got this! ❇️ 15 second rest in between each exercise or continue to the next with no rest (like me🤩) for more advance.
