This image got me thinking. I’d like to share my view for anybody who cares to listen.
I find there’s far too many people feeling sorry for themselves, beating themselves up or feeling hard done by. Most often over something that some may perceive as trivial. We live in the most abundant era known in evolution. We all, at some stage go through difficult times, challenges, hardships. Unfortunately life isn’t a straight forward climb to the top by any means. There’s endless bumps & knock backs along the way which we all experience regardless of current circumstances/situations. We just gotta learn from each one, refine & come back stronger than prior.
We really need to concentrate on the things we should be grateful for instead of the things that perhaps were not too happy about. Most people (me included) can become accustom to focusing on negative things in life which inevitably bring down our energy levels. Do this continuously over a length of time, it becomes our habitual way of thinking. Focusing mainly on the shit life seems to throw at us is only bringing down our energy levels which is only only gonna lead to poor metal health/depression/anxiety etc
I’m no psychologist nor therapist but I promise you - if you can take those same thoughts & focus them on the thousands of things we could choose to be grateful for. Then do this consistently for a solid period of time things will start to look up. Perhaps not physically or materialistically straight away but certainly mentally. Everyday we wake up breathing is a funking blessing so maybe we should treat it like one 🙏
I’m all for helping people. As most people that know me, will know. But, we need to start helping ourselves. YOU are the only person that can do the things necessary to improve tomorrow, next week, month, year. It’s YOUR responsibility to be the person whom you know you can be. Life’s about making choices, taking risks, being different, embracing flaws. Make a decision today to focus on 5 things you’re grateful for each morning when you wake up & each night before bed. Watch things change ✨
