Introducing the High Five challenge! โ€ข squats โ€ข hop scotch burpees 
A simple AMRAP (as many rounds as possible in 5 minutes)

Iโ€™ve enjoyed the gym for many years, taking it more seriously in the past 2. I always looked at people doing bodybuilding thinking thatโ€™s class but I could never do it. Someone like me with a very hectic unpredictable job and a health condition with a very specific diet and issues regarding fatigue. But last night when I realised how far Iโ€™ve come in a relatively short space of time and the muscle density I do have I finally realised I can do anything I put my mind to. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Thursday workout tip.... kettlebell swing ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
The kettlebell swing is a hip hinge movement NOT a knee dominant movement!!!!
On the left - a hip hinge movement and the right - a knee dominant movement. The KB swing should look like the left movement. 
You should have your feet shoulder width and soft knees. Engage the core before starting the exercise and maintain throughout. As the bell goes backwards the back should stay flat. Then thrust your hips forward to generate the power of the swing, allowing the kettlebell to go no higher than your shoulders. At the top of the movement squeeze your glutes, lock out your ankle, knee and hips.
If you need help with your technique, ask a member of the team and we can make sure youโ€™re performing the exercise safely and effectively.
