“The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice.”
I have always loved learning! I have an insatiable desire to learn. As a youngster, I loved learning in school; facts, skills, languages, athletics etc. Now I learn about life, personal growth, my potential, what resonates with my soul, behaviours, my beliefs, my habits, consciousness, how to create profoundly deep, meaningful, and flourishing relationships, emotions and their value, and the Universe. I used to be a good learner, someone who learned quickly and effortlessly. Now, it seems I learn at a slower pace, often disregarding my intuition, finding myself more easily confused, and more fearful to expand beyond my wildest dreams. I have always envisioned I’d have a supportive caring partner who enjoys truly being here for me, cheering me on to create and live our dreams together. Possessing a sense of curiosity throughout life is essential in expanding what one knows and understands to be true. What needs to be taught in school curriculum is mostly disregarded. Children need to learn about how to give and receive love, how to create and maintain deep meaningful relationships, breathing, meditation and prayer, effective communication skills that overcome disagreements, the power of their minds, the connection between body, mind and soul to create wholeness, their intrinsic value, their ability to create a passionate life filled with prosperity and abundance, the importance of practising compassion and kindness always. Children need to learn about what is really important; their well-being, the Earth’s well-being, the well-being of all sentient beings, and what creates well-being. It is essential that this is to be taught if we want to experience the change that is needed to create peace, harmony, sustainability, and a consciously loving world. Do you have anything to add?
