I was inspired to challenge my puppy press today after seeing @rodjcooper and @jenimoves play today. 
So when I got home I decided to take the puppy press a bit further and start on my sad side, then do my happy side and do lateral flexion both sides.

It felt so good connecting it all together I just felt like keeping the flow going.

I don't dance, have never been a dancer, like, never!

But neither have my dear friends Rod and Jeni. They practice and move and just do it because it feels good. 
Pretty or not, planned or unplanned, it felt good, I felt free and am grateful to have embraced the moment. 
Thank you for always inspiring me to grow and connect to my body, mind and movement @the_movement_collective 🖤🖤🖤 #handbalancing

I’ve been recently asked to provide some basic exercises for somebody that is less mobile due to their age, they wanted me to include kitchen furniture as that is where they are spending most of their time, here is a selection of the exercises:
Stairs: Step Ups
Chair: Squats
Chair: Press ups on the knees
Sideboard: Standing Press Ups
Chair: Knee Tucks holding onto the chair
At any age it’s really important to keep the body moving so just perform the amount of reps that feels comfortable for you, Any questions, just ask ❤️

Week 3 Day 1 - Barre Interval Challenge - 10 exercises, 1 minute each exercise with 30 seconds break in between, do two sets 
1. Squats with arms 
2. Squats to Plies, make sure arms and chest open in plie, keep back long
3. Squats and pivot from side to side, keep low and core engaged
4. Second position raised heels plies
5. Plie jumps in second position, land softly 
6. Oblique knee to elbow pulls - left 
7. Oblique knee to elbow pulls - right 
8. Side leg lifts - left 
9. Side leg lifts - right 
10. Front leg lifts, ensure you can see the inside of your heel 
As an alternative to doing two sets, try joining #thebodycoach at 9am every weekday morning - if you have kids, get them to join, my son loves it - and the do one set of our barre challenge. I did it today and can now waddle myself to the fridge for something to eat. Great start to the day!
