You think you are thinking and you think also you would like to not be thinking so much, or you would like to be able to stop it and just feel Ananda Maya Kosha. Blissful, or be something like asleep, really just feeling good and not thinking and not feeling any body, or discomfort in the body. But you can’t quite arrange it and you presume that basically you are these conditions, you are thinking, and you are thinking obsessively and yet if you were thinking then why couldn’t you stop thinking. If you were doing the thoughts that arise, just calmly observing the thoughts arising if you were thinking all those thoughts then what do you do to think them? How do you think a thought? - Before the thought actually arises as some mind form? You do something other than think? What is that? If you are thinking you have to be doing something that results in thoughts. And it’s some kind of equivalent to those thoughts. Something in kind that appears as a thought or concept in the mind or otherwise words spoken. But what is that? If you were doing the thinking of the thought, then you would have to effectively be thinking a thought to then think that thought. Otherwise, where has it come from? You aren’t thinking. Thought is a parasitic event. It’s brain activity or psycho-physical activity, not an activity of Consciousness. Consciousness is only the Witnesss.
