I superset or triset a lot of these. Give them a try individually or stack them. But some key things to keep in mind during these moves are:
Squats- focus ass to grass. Don’t set your weight so heavy that you lose control of form, range of motion, or start to compensate. Do a weight that you can perform it correctly.
Sissy squats- get those quads on fire!! When it gets hard, keep going and burn them out.
Knee ext- use band around the knees to push outward with knee extension. This will really help bring out that outer quad sweep!
Final burn out treadmill pushes- in the last video you will see me walking backwards on treadmill. Hold in a slight squat, have lifting belt on to protect your back from pressure of leaning back into the treadmill grip bar, and push that treadmill. You are the power! Push it through those quads and get it moving faster.
1️⃣ barbell squats - 5 sets x 16resp
2️⃣ box step up - 5 sets x 20 reps each leg
3️⃣ cable standing sartorious hip flex focus - 3 sets x 20 reps
4️⃣ cable laying leg raise - 3 sets x 16 reps
5️⃣ sissy squats - 5 sets x 20 reps
6️⃣ machine knee ext - 5 sets x 16 reps (try increasing the weight every set)
7️⃣ treadmill push quad burn out- as noted above hold in squat position backwards. Set treadmill at low speed as needed .5-1.5 mph or don’t turn it on and you power it completely. Try this for 10-15 min to finish out your quad focused workout. You can thank me later...but you may not want too 😂😂 Give some of these a try and tag me in your workout on how it went!
