I want to give a big shout out to @therefillrevolution in Boulder. This store is one of the reasons my #lowwaste lifestyle is so convenient and doable.
Britney at @therefillrevolution stocks products like dish soap, dishwasher detergent, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, olive oil, and so many more products in bulk. I just bring my own container, she tares it at the counter, and I fill it up to be reused again and again.
She also sells chapstick and deodorant in compostable packaging, wooden dish brushes that will decompose at the end of their life, sponge replacements that are compostable, and so many other products that help reduce household waste.
She is providing a solution to pretty much all our plastic problems!
If you haven't had a chance to stop by, I highly suggest you do so. Her storefront is off of 33rd and Arapahoe in Boulder. She is so helpful and passionate about helping people reduce their waste, and I'm super grateful!
Not only that, but I love the opportunity to support a locally owned, female lead business! Britney is a badass!
What products that you currently buy in packaging that you might be able to refill instead? Is refill technology a concept you're interested in exploring? Let me know if you'd like me to help locate a refill store near you! - 9 minutes ago
