I know you are doing great. And why not! After all these years of hard work; You definitely got a story behind you. The way you established yourself from being originated as a ligature of 'et' for And to a variety of form you can ve designed.
I discovered you as a replacement for and when I was in 5th standard. Well, then and used to be seen only in exam papers as you were never allowed to enter the exam hall.
I always used to think of you only as a replacement for a really important conjunction. But no, you proved me wrong; want to know when? Yes, in 11th standard, when I opted for Computer Science. That's when you were not replacement, but someone who has importance of it's own. This time, you were introduced to me as an operator.
° & for bitwise AND, used as an unary operator in C & C++.
° && for short circuit logical AND.
Without fail you established yourself from being a replacement to someone who can't be replaced anymore. Not only a conjunction anymore, you travelled all the way from traditional language to Computer language making your presence felt. It's amazing how you rejected to settle for anything less. You always knew that you are here to make it matter.
Your journey is inspiring.
That's all for now.
