Belladonna and Datura
This oleum will help to thin the liminal space-the time- between what was, and what's next.
Belladonna--it was said that in the forests where this beautiful plant was grown, passersbys would see a beautiful lady with long black shining hair and big dark eyes. Legend says that practitioners paid tributes to the belladonna plant, for the dark lady to appear and teach them the secrets of magic. Belladonna is linked to Hecate; each bottle is imbued with fragments of Belladonna.
Datura--truly a remarkable, trans-formative ally; her thorny, prickly seed pod is discovered only after her beautiful, romantic, enchanting smelling blossoms have closed back in on herself and succumbed to eternal darkness, in an effort to assure that her family continues to bloom. Those who discover Datura, will certainly experience her reverence and awe. Having long been connected to shape-shifting, particularly a seductive, bird form, the well known tingling sensation felt after applying datura is commonly likened to the sensation of sprouting feathers.
Imagine a beautiful black raven, using the seductiveness of their song to beguile the object of their affection.
Poplar buds have historically been used for spiritual and emotional comfort, healing, conflict resolution, inspiration, manifestation, consecration, and for easing the path in connecting to spirit.
The plant materials in this oil have been grown, harvested, dried, and prepared by me, under the most beneficial phase of the moon. Each bottle will be placed upon my altar, prayed over, and charged with intent and energy before ever leaving my hands.
