I’ve been in self quarantine for over a month now and it’s taken its toll.
Some days I’m super low, and other days I feel like I am manic with so much energy. Quarantine made me realize how much I rely on being able to leave my house and being social.
Yoga has been a big helper and I find Ashtanga to be a very detoxing and grounding practice.
In my practice the emotions that I haven’t worked through come to the surface and I’m forced face my darker side that I try to ignore. Some days I don’t even like myself. But yoga has reminded me to just breathe through it and let myself be. I’m not used to all these emotions since I’m usually very grounded.
It’s okay to not be okay. We will get through this.
