When selecting your internal finishes, remember to consider your furniture. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whether it's furniture pieces you already have or pieces you plan to buy, make sure you think about how they will work with your selections.
The most common mistake people make is having too many different tones, styles and colours in one room - overcrowding and overstimulating the senses 🥴 Not the best feeling!
So here's how I avoid doing too much in a space 😉 I always start with a central statement piece and build my room selections around it. The statement piece can be wall art, a throw cushion, a couch, a patterned floor tile? The list goes on.
Another great tip to nailing your selections is to gather lots of inspo then narrowing your inspo down to one image per room before your Prestart/selections meeting. 🤗 Inspo is great but Too much inspo can be overwhelming!
How did you go about making your internal selections?😊 Did you create a vision board? had an inspo account on IG? Pinterest?
