The symptoms of the Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) start at a very early age and are often diagnosed between 1year 6months and 3 years. These symptoms do not usually disappear and may affect the person's daily activities.
These symptoms may affect the social intercation and communication skills like difficulties interacting with others, in understanding the facial expressions or the intonation. Individuals on the ASD might also have difficulties responding to their names and expressing themeselves in words or gestures. The #eyecontact is most of the time a challenge. The restricted and repetitive behaviors may show in the way they play for example (turning the wheels of cars or aligning toys) or in gestures like flapping hands or rocking. The children with ASD might have hyper or hyposensitivity (disliking some textures in clothing, the need to stay barefoot, refusing certain type of food...). These individuals have lots of challenges but at the same time they are skilled in so many different and unique ways.
Only few specialists have the right to diagnose ASD like Pediatric neurologists, Child psychiatrist, Neuropsychiatrist or developmental pediatricians.

It’s no secret that the frequency of autism diagnosis has increased dramatically since the 1980s. The most recent CDC report indicates one in every 59 children is diagnosed with autism, which shows a 15% increase from the report before. Boys are much more likely to be diagnosed than girls, and the statistic varies by location. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
As American autism rates rise and public awareness heightens, many are asking, “what causes autism?” Furthermore, is there anything that we can do to guard against the risk factors? ⠀⠀⠀⠀
While the exact causes of autism aren’t fully understood, there are many studied triggers and environmental risk factors that we have discovered to contribute to autism spectrum disorder. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), American Academy of Pediatrics, and others are tracking this disorder closely and searching for answers. We’ve compiled the most compelling research for you below.

The simple act of stroking an animal can have calming effects and even help to regulate blood pressure. Have you found pets to be helpful with your child’s autism symptoms? We would love to hear about it.

Being aware of early developmental symptoms of Autism is important for early intervention. Some first year symptoms of Autism may include:
1. Limited ability to anticipate being picked up
2. Low frequency of looking at people
3. Not responding to their name when called
4. Little affection towards familiar people
5. Infrequent looking at objects held by others
6. Little interest in interactive games
7. Excessive mouthing

Akintade’s Story : Before the smiles started to fade..
Today I write about my beautiful son’s early years, before the smiles started to fade.
I feel the urge to share this story today to make parents of newly diagnosed autistic children aware of all the signs.
Akintade was a very intelligent, bubbly and giggling baby, my joy knew no boundaries as he blossomed. I dressed him up with the best brands money can buy (even with the very little we earn then). We just love to show up our gorgeous son. The giggling, laughter and charming smiles then began to fade. This was exactly few days after his MMR vaccination as he became ill the day after taking his MMR vaccination. He was admitted to Barnet General hospital for 2 weeks. I believe our lives changed after coming back from the hospital. Akintade became a different child 😥
Our ever bubbly boy became teary eyed, ever screaming child. I kept up the faith , smiling and singing to him throughout his crying episode. He became withdrawn, fixated on his playpen and addicted to Pocahontas videos. He would not sleep without watching Pocahontas videos.
This is part of the stereotypical stimulating behavior of autistic children.
Subsequent pictures of Akintade reflected a very distant and lost child. It took several years of prayers, therapy and perseverance for us to get Akintade’s smiles back.
If your child displays any unusual characteristics, please see a specialist to assess your child as early intervention is the key to managing autism symptoms.
Luckily, we have unlimited pool of information to help parents today. Please share, like or comment if you have similar experience.

We love hearing success stories from our clients! See the full testimonial below:⁣
⁣
"From my son's NeuroPointDX testing results, his physician concluded that my son had low Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA) combined with higher levels of other amino acids. Although the amino acid panels we had done previously showed that my son's amino acid levels were within the normal range, NeuroPointDX's test identified a very specific amino acid dysregulation in his metabolism not detected by standard amino acid panels.⁣ ⁣
Our physician told us to start my son on a BCAA supplement. Within weeks, we saw improvements with endurance and cognition. We were skeptical about whether the improvement was because of the supplement, or another intervention we were using, so we repeated the NeuroPointDX test. The results showed the amino acid dysregulation was corrected providing insight that the supplement was working. Without this diagnostic testing we would never have known. We are excited to see what additional testing and research the company will do in the future." - SF⁣

Why early diagnosis of autism in children is a good thing? 💛 💚 💙 💜
Early diagnosis is important because it allows medical intervention to happen much earlier.
For young children with autism, this means that the therapies needed to reach their full potential are given early when brain plasticity is much more pronounced and consequently the impact of an intervention is much more comprehensive.

How confusing is the world of symptoms?!?! Statics show that boy's are diagnosed with autism more than girls. If we look at the two images, they contradict one another...do girls display "different" autistic symptoms compared to boy's⁉️ 😕

The first image states the following:
• girl's can be creative and have a love for writing...but yet generic symptoms state that people with autism can have learning difficulties (and our ds definitely struggles with writing)
• girl's escape through imagination....this could mean different things to different people. At first I compared it to lacks imaginative play (shown in the second image). Does anyone else feel the same, symptoms are too generic and like I hear repeatedly 'if you've met one autistic person, you've met one autistic person!' ♥️💜💙💚💛❤️🖤 #repost #girls #boys #symptoms #generic

AUTIZMI ( SHFLETONI FOTOT )
