Moms, how you letting know your child that it’s time for sleep? As most common mistake parents do is fast (immediate) transition from active time to sleep, when baby not yet relaxed and can’t fall asleep.
When we talking about sleep preparations for naps and night sleep time, how correctly to slow down the baby and give him correct environment, where baby will give a sleep signs and in result, will fall asleep easy?
Here we coming to co-called “sleep rituals” - it’s a strict combination of relaxing actions, happening in one room, every day and preparing baby for sleep. Rituals is to: .

🧩 relax a baby .
🧩 transition from active time to sleep time
🧩 needed baby/mom time .
For naps rituals are mostly shorter (5-10 min), where it’s longer for night sleep time (10-20 min).
What all actions call “sleep rituals” you can do, depends only on mom and baby, but here some examples: .
💚 Wishing good night to toys, pets .
💚 Close the the curtains .
💚 Off or dim the light .
💚 On relaxing music or lullabies .
💚 Lay down with baby on a bed .
💚 Cuddle baby .
💚 Do relaxing massage .
💚 Talk to baby in calm manner, tell a story .

💚 Sing a lullaby .
💚 Change diaper, cloth .
💚 Do relaxing bath, sponge bath .

For example: .
🌻 Naps - take baby to room 20 min prior. Wash baby hands and face, then tell short story, after it cuddle a baby to sleep. .
🌻 Night sleep time - take baby to room 30 min prior. Do a sponge bath, change baby diaper and cloth, read couple pages of book while laying down in a bed with baby, hug baby and cuddle to sleep. .
