May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Especially amidst this virus and economic turmoil that are impacting different people in different ways, this is just a reminder to take care of yourself. I've been taking Yale's "The Science of Well-Being" class (free online through Coursera), and my chosen "rewirement" for the last few weeks of the class is doing yoga for at least 10 minutes before bed every night.
It's been tough to make time for this — I thought I'd have time for all the writing and reading and art projects in the world when all of this started, and that just hasn't been the case. But I'm making time for yoga, and for running, and I'm working on my sleep. Because those things keep me on the rails mentally, and that's my priority now more than ever.
All this to say that I hope you're doing well (in these strange/unprecedented/wild times), but it's OK if you're not.
