We could all use a little more celebration in our lives, right?

In my business, I always celebrate new clients and partners, but sometimes I forget to celebrate the little things.

Today, I’m celebrating the fact that I’m already done with dinner (crockpot meals are life!) and all the laughs and inspiration I’ve been getting from this lovely app.

How have you been spending your quarantine? How has physical distancing effected your life? Sometimes we can get wrapped up in the “good vibes” culture and feel like we’re not allowed to process or express difficult emotions. Which is total crap. There are good days, and there are terrible days. All your feelings are normal, valid, and important. It’s important to remember that our internal weather pattern is just like the British weather - ever changing. Some days will be stormy, some days there’ll be intermittent clouds, and some days will be full of sunshine. Some days you’ll experience all three. 
Whatever internal weather pattern you are experiencing right now, acknowledge it, allow it to be there, and most importantly be gentle with yourself. This too shall pass. 💗

👋👋👋 Hiiiiiii!  How are youuuuuu⁉️ My dog self has had some ups and downs this past week... anybody else?? Some days I’m like: “danggg Cocoa you and your fine self are NAILIN’ IT with this quarantine game 💃, you are SO productive with your naps and your walkies!!” And other days I’m like “Cocoa... girl...🤦‍♀️why can’t you get up off the floor??” AHEM☝️so I’d like you remind you all of something I’ve had to remind myself of this week: NO doggo (or hooman) is going handle all this change pawfectly #nope #nopenope 🙅‍♀️. If you aren’t getting creative, deep cleaning your kennel, working ahead on your homework, or doing your daily zoomies, THAT IS OKAY!! Give yourself some grace💖, okay?!? It will take time (like... more than the week you just had) to figure out a new normal, and I know you can do it 💞

A reminder for you today. 
We are our biggest critics. We can be our biggest enemies and especially now, we’re fighting something bigger than us which can make us push ourselves even more, but it’s time to be gentle with ourselves. Let ourselves feel when we want to feel and get angry or cry whenever we want to. There’s no one pushing us right now, but us.

There are so many amazing resources out there right now for emotional connection and support.

Call a friend, make virtual appointment with a therapist, journal, scream, throw pillows or bash a stick into the dirt. The important thing to to find an outlet that gives your emotions the space they need to flow. We are energy and stifling our experience just builds blocks that will show up in your body, dreams and relationships. Let it flow, sister!

Stil In Delft. 
Normaal fiets ik er regelmatig langs. Naar mijn werk, naar familie, vrienden, naar de stad, naar de kapper @kapsalonvoskuil . Leek allemaal zo vanzelfsprekend.
Maar vandaag niet. Thuis 👩‍💻 , vond het vandaag wel doorbijten.  Die gevoelens horen er ook bij. Ik heb niet  zoveel met het mantra ‘positief blijven’. Onrust, angst, onmacht, je tekort voelen schieten. Het hoort er allemaal bij. Leren roeien met de riemen die jij op dat moment hebt. Dat kost energie en dat gaat op het ene moment beter dan het andere moment. En iedereen heeft een andere manier om die te vinden.

YOGA RELAXATION 
Nurture your body & mind with these simple yoga postures and a simple meditation. 👌Remember that yoga is not about perfection. It’s an exploration journey within. 
If it is painful, stop. 
Follow your body and breath. 
You can start with a short meditation 
For example:
-> simply observe your breath how it is entering your body through your nose.. no rules.. just observe your breath.. slow down.. take this moment for yourself. Simply be💗

Stay in the yoga postures- asanas for few breathes - 20s or so. Slow down🧘🏻‍♂️ ☺️I recommend to do the 2nd posture on the picture (top left) - child pose for a bit longer and also repeat the child pose at the end of your practise to finish it. It’s a great relaxation for body and mind. 🙏🏻You can end your exercise with chanting OM 3x. That will seal the pure energy within and set a good intention for a day.

Just few minutes of yoga practice a day can strengthen your health and relax your mind.

“‘Life itself is grace’ writes Frederick Buechner and that includes our griefs and our grievances, our daily deaths to desire and boredom and every blessed minute that we inhale a breath. 
At the start of this, I thought I might be able to work on my writing, send out some pitches, schedule out my children’s days with color-coded hourly planning, whip up some dinners from the cupboard that might be Instagram worthy (#tuna). Now, at day 18, I’ve barely filled three pages with my own creativity, haven’t sent a pitch email in two weeks, have viewed SO MANY DISNEY MOVIES, and have made pasta for many, many meals.”
