Some weekends in our home are go, go, go. And some are all about rest.
This weekend is about rest for us.
Just like we’re told not to let our children get overtired, we need to have that same respect for ourselves. Your mind and body are intrinsically connected, and when you don’t allow yourself time to quiet your body you end up pushing it into overdrive.
I don’t know about you, but some days when I just take a few moments to quite my mind, sit and breath, rest my eyes, or drink some coffee in silence I tend to feel a little more grounded and recharged to get through the day.
