Quick&easy, tasty&healthy recipes help me tremendously every day to stay on track. I try to keep a “healthy diet” (in the sense that I try to base most of my meals on healthy ingredients, but absolutely won’t forbid myself from having something “less healthy” here and there). It’s so important that we actually enjoy what we eat, and that our cravings are fulfilled. I’ve learned the hard way that trying to deny myself the food I’m craving the most will only lead to me eating 10 times the normal portion a few hours later.
However, “healthy” alternatives of our fav junk foods are true life savers. It’s like you get to have your cake and eat it too: you have your comfort food without the greasy/sugary heaviness, but 100% yummy!
