Viele denken immer, wenn ich Lowcarb Rezepte poste, dass ich mich komplett Lowcarb ernähre. 🥴 Das Gerücht wollte ich heute mal aus der Welt räumen 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ Ich esse definitiv Kohlenhydrate. Wie ihr unschwer an meinem Teller erkennen könnt. 😉

Aber eben nicht immer und ich esse auch oft Lowcarb Gerichte. Das ist wohl richtig 😅 Einfach, um mir Kalorien zu sparen und auch, weil ich festgestellt habe, dass ich keine Kohlenhydrate zum satt werden brauche, sondern eher genügen Eiweiss der springende Punkt bei mit ist und mich wesentlich länger satt macht.😋

Ich kann, koche und mache aber beides - Lowcarb und Highcarb 😂 So wie es eben gerade passt. AUS WELCHER KATEGORIE WÜNSCHT IHR EUCH DENN ZUKÜNFTIG MEHR REZEPTE? ODER BEIDES? 🤔

📝REZEPT für 2: Schupfnudeln einfach mit etwas Öl in der Pfanne anbraten und eine Packung mini Mozzarellakugeln und Tomaten dazu geben, mit Gewürzen abschmecken und das wars auch schon. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Super easy und super lecker. 😋

I just made cinnamon rolls, one of my favorite things of all time to bake and eat. I also wrote a blog post about “trigger foods” and how, for many years, I believed I couldn’t be trusted in the same room with a tray of freshly baked cinnamon rolls because I thought I was an emotional eater with no self control. ⁣
⁣
The thing is food is very much linked to our emotions, and sharing foods we enjoy is an innate part of being human and enjoying life. It isn’t disordered or abnormal to love certain foods and nothing is wrong with you but if you have trouble feeling at ease around certain foods, it probably because you have dieted for a long time and demonized those foods.⁣

Can I tell you a fitness secret 🤭

I remember starting my journey almost 9 years ago! I walked into my first ever boot camp class, exhausted , struggling w POST PARTUM DEPRESSION, sleep deprive , and desperate to find a piece of me !!! I was nervous and scared! The what if’s ran thru my head and for a minute I even contemplated driving back because I was embarrassed and shamed of my body! But something deep within told me to just stay!

It was those five minutes that saved my life! It was that moment, that has set the tone! It wasn’t  the actual workout , it was about CONQUERING MY FEAR, and SELF DOUBT!! So here I am 3 kids later, grateful for that one moment ! Imagine if I would have allowed fear to drive me back home!

Conquering my FEAR gave me confidence and strength!..... AND IT CAN DO THE SAME FOR YOU !!!😘

Happy Friday 💕 Happy Weekend 💕

Oh mein Gott, es sind endlich Ferien 😍 Jetzt ist es Zeit die Kraftreserven wieder auszuladen. Zeit um auszuschlafen. Zeit um Ruhe zu genießen. Zeit um fit zu werden. Zeit für Training. Zeit für mich. 💕 .

Diese eine Woche Erholung und Ruhe werde ich vollen Zügen genießen, um meine Kids vermissen zu können und mich wieder auf sie zu freuen. 💕 Heute haben wir 4 Stunden Fasching gefeiert mit 70 Kindern und Jugendlichen. Ich bin wirklich überhaupt kein Faschingsfan, aber das Leuchten in Augen von Kindern ist das Wunderschönste auf der Welt. Ich liebe meinen Job. Jetzt aber erstemal eine Woche "frei" und hoffentlich bald wieder fit genug für's Training. 💕 .

Letzte Mealprep-Runde vor dem Wochenende 🤗

"Welche Rezepte sind eigentlich Mealprep geeignet?!" 🤔 werde ich öfter mal gefragt. Dabei müsste es doch eigentlich eher heissen: welche Rezepte es NICHT sind!? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Denn im Grunde kann man doch fast alles was man heute kocht, am nächsten Tag auch noch essen, oder? 😅 Mir würde sogar nicht mal was einfallen was nicht. 🤔 Euch? 🤔 Selbst Pizza schmeckt am nächsten Tag noch 😅🤷🏼‍♀️

Und vorkochen lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. ☺️ Man spart dadurch so viel Zeit und die Gefahr irgendeinen Mist zu essen ist viel geringer, wenn man sich sein Essen nur noch aufwärmen und nicht noch viel Zeit in der Küche verbringen muss. ☺️

Gestern Abend gab's bei mir Quinoa und Bulgur (schon vorgegart), Lachsfilet und einen Salat aus Radieschen und Gurken. Eine zweite Portion hatte ich mir direkt in meine Dose gefüllt und in den Kühlschrank gepackt. Mittagessen für heute ist also schonmal safe 😋

I sent this to my email list on Monday, but I really wanted to share it with everyone today.

Does this self acceptance stuff even apply to you?

All this “you’re worth more than your weight” or “you deserve self care” stuff is for everyone else in the world but not me! Maybe you even prescribe it to others but not yourself 😂

I personally don’t ‘deserve’ to give myself the same patience and understanding as people who are struggling with “more serious” issues.

How about you? When you resonate with other peoples struggles do you think “but that’s not me. They had it way worse than me” and therefore you cannot try the same protocols for self-healing and acceptance as them?

Can you relate to thinking you’re a unique snow flake and that the general prescription for a chill sesh would be a misdiagnosis?

A question I was asked when I was cracking the sads one day was “why NOT you?”. I tried to make a list of reasonable reasons WHY no good advice applies to me. Try it. You’ll think of a couple of things, sure, but they’ll mostly be rubbish.

That was huge for me! I was out of excuses and started to think more rationally pretty quick after that.

Determined to make 2020 the year of leg day, everyday

Ladies, I grew up struggling to love my legs because they were “bigger and more muscular” than other girls. No matter how many people told me they “wish they had my legs” I couldn’t believe them and I always wanted to look “dainty and tiny”. I constantly found myself comparing my physique to others. Coming into my early adulthood I now embrace the gift that my legs are. They are strong, They are defined, and they are an asset that makes me unique from other beautiful women out there. So in 2020, and the years to come, be prepared to see more of these legs, cause I sure am grateful for them.

It's not a before after photo, and I'm not marketing any workout or any diet or any lifestyle that got me from 1 photo to the other.
Those are 2 shapes my body took and I was happy both ways.

People won't leave you alone, they ALWAYS have something to criticize about. .

- you just need 5kgs less and ud look perfect
- are you really gonna eat that?
- why don't you keto?
- just quit the carbs

- stop it its not pretty anymore

Those comments used to anger me (yesterday one of the best nutritionists out there got body shamed @rola_ghaddar) but with time I learned that we live in a sick culture that would never stop having a say on how your body looks

The 2 pictures are less than a year of difference, I was on a vacation in Madagascar just last April, the second one I was attending my sister s concert 5 months later. No it wasn't dieting, it was the change in my workout. Again, I love the shape it chooses. .
