Let's be real for a minute.
Those who know me know I love to work and spend money! When I was pregnant I was asked ”what are you doing after the baby arrives? Do you plan to go straight back to work?” I would answer without hesitation ”most definitely once he's old enough for daycare I'm going back!”
When Xander arrived I realized that I didn't want to put him in daycare, I began to think what if someone hurts him? He doesn't know how to talk so he can't tell me when something happens!
I began to feel ashamed for wanting to stay home with my baby, knowing we couldn't really afford to be on just one income. I started opening my mind to a stay at home job to bring in at least gas or grocery money, but even then I was scared due to past experiences.
At the time I was talking to a friend about some stretch mark cream, who happened to also have a job opportunity open! I sat on the idea of joining the business for a couple of days but couldn't help but think it was meant to be! This point, there was nothing to lose.
Since I've joined I accomplished getting a $100 shopping spree, helping with gas money, and also being able to pay for some groceries. If you're struggling or just making it paycheck to paycheck, you’re not alone, but why not do something about it?
