Today’s the day I should have started my dream job in working for British Airways as a Flight Attendant. My opportunity to get to see the world.
I was hesitant in posting anything because I told my self I wasn’t going to let anyone know until I had passed my initial training course. (Only a few close ones knew I had passed all the interviews and was working hard towards this day). I even went and got my US crew member visa the other week before lockdown, luckily that lasts 10 years.
This selfie was take on my assessment day at British Airways Head Quarters on October 11th 2019 before I had even found out I was successful. I found that out many long weeks later. Then on Xmas eve I found out my start date. So you can imagine how patient and excited I was until a couple of weeks ago BA sent out that training due to the virus was cancelled.
I am absolutely gutted to not be starting today due to COVID-19. However I am going to remain positive and that my time was not yet and perhaps there are more lessons that I need to learn until this day comes AGAIN. But YOU will see this smile in the sky’s maybe not this year but hopefully next year. 🙂
Even though my last job did not let me keep my job to be considered for furlough during these hard times, I am currently jobless but I still have a smile on my face as my mums forever telling me everything happens for a reason and nothings ever done before it’s time.
So until this is all over Happy Quarantine, Stay Home & Stay Safe. ✨
Ps I’m not sorry this is a long post because I don’t usually get personal on here. 💛
