ITCHY PART 2
So, this little beauty you see in the middle is my new best friend. At my 24 week check up I finally met my midwife! When I first had my appointments booked, my midwife Fiona actually began phased retirement, so I didn't actually see her, I was just given who was free on the days of my apps. Annoying much! But luckily they were all lovely. Finally by my 24 weeks app, my new midwife Natalie had begun and I know have someone permanent 😍 I've seen her 3 times now and actually have no idea what she looks like, odd right? Well Covid has meant she has had to wear a mask at each app. So I still can't put a face to a name 😅🙋♀️ Anyways, Natalie was taking my LFTs and BA bloods and had asked if I had tried an Oatmeal bath? I had not! Tell me more. She suggested I get a muslin, pop oatmeal in it and run it in a nice warm bath, it's sworn to help relive skin. At this stage, a breakfast bath didn't sound terrible as I would try anything. That night I gave it a bash and oh gosh, it felt so nice. I smelt amazing after too 😂 however it was very messy when trying to clear the oats! She had also mentioned ordering Aveeno. So I also done this.
I thought, let's try an @aveenobabyukire bath, it has oatmeal in it, surely it would have the desired effect? Oh boy it does! Every night, about 8pm I will tottle off for my Aveeno bath. My itch is not eliminated my hands and feet still suffer, but my legs and back, oh my days, what a difference. Its still there but its tolerable! I feel like a new woman. 😍
