Where do I begin on the infinite ways that life has changed for us all since this magical day in Malibu last fall? Known hardships, exhilarating milestones, cherished physical touch, and just simply basking in the California sun ☀️ has now been replaced with mass anxiety, harrowing uncertainty, and painful distancing from those we love 💔
And it’s ironic how the most painful practice during this crisis could very well be the only thing that will save us. The news calls it “social distancing” but in practice, it feels more like isolation, confinement, and a forced distance from our beloved friends & family.
But if we cherished them enough, we NEED to all keep a distance to keep them safe. I’ve been reading heavily and the numbers/projections are reporting just how massively this virus will explode in LA in the next two coming weeks.
Choosing to self-isolate will make you ONE LESS in this devastating equation 🙏🏼 An asymptomatic person could end up infecting 2 or more others, including someone’s parents or ultra vulnerable elderly.
The gatherings, dinners, drinking nights, fun bars will all be there when this is all over. Some of our loved ones may not be if we don’t take this seriously and do our part.
In the next few days, I’ll be sharing some fun ideas on how to keep busy with skincare hacks, creative tricks for photo editing & more! 🤗 Self containment is actually an opportunity to get more connected than ever. Let’s get through this together, lovelies! ❤️ - 34 minutes ago
