I lost my zest.

I had a really rough few years and my health fell out with it. One pound had turned into two into five into ten...into fifty.

I was juggling with so many things that my health had gone to the back-burner. I the biggest I’d ever been and I never felt worse.

We weren’t on quarantine then but I sure acted like it - too embarrassed, unmotivated, unconfident, and exhausted to go out or do anything.

I was officially at the bottom and I didn’t know how to get out. Where do you even start when you’ve gone this far?

I was basically paralyzed by the overwhelm and confusion of where to begin...life was passing me by.

I didn’t know exactly how, but I knew I didn’t want this any longer.

Flash forward many years and I’m at the top of my game. Yes, I lost the weight, but that’s small compared to what I really gained. Life no longer passes me by because I’m in the driver’s seat now, going exactly where I want... a glimpse of my view:

😍I thoroughly enjoy food and it doesn’t have any power over me

I worked so hard to look my best for the slimmer of the year weekend and after it was all over, I felt a little routine relaxation was deserved!⁣
So I did, seriously relax, indulge, carb load and generally stuff my face 🤦🏽♀️🤪! But it’s been a week now and I’m finding my body heavy and sluggish, my mindless focused and my moods all over the shop and it reminds me of how I used to feel carrying all that extra weight! I don’t like it!!! So the fitness girl is back and ready to find my balance again!

people say realizing you have a problem is the first step to overcome it.. but nobody really knows how scary it is to come out of something like this. yes i know i’m damaging my body. i have no energy. i have no will to do anything, i’m always unmotivated but somehow i always manage to get everything done. i get tired extremely easily. but i don’t want to gain weight. it’s scary. i dont ever want to be the same, but how can i come out of this horrible disease?  i wish i would’ve never done it in the first place. i can’t eat anything without feeling guilty or feeling the need to exercise for hours. even though i can barely exercise.

I always tell people you DO NOT need to eat only egg whites to be healthy. This was a mistake I used to make. Whole eggs are so much more satisfying (for me) and NOT BAD FOR YOU. Please eat them if you enjoy them 🍳 I mix eggs + extra egg whites if I'm looking for more protein.

最近有点开挂,挺好的食材调整了一下比例,就是不一样的蛋糕,这个蛋糕琉璃面用的是@muscletech Hydrolized proteinpowder。口感非常顺滑细腻
