Having to make adjustments to suit the environment. Had a butterflied pork roast to do in the
camp oven but discovered that fires aren't allowed at this conservation park when we arrived. Had to slice it up and fry the meat and saute the sweet potato and pumpkin instead. Kaleslaw and vegan dressing made from scratch.
I've managed to stock almost a full pantry of essentials, even with only half my usual spices and sauces.
The no-bake chocolate oat biscuits I made the other day were a winner. Might try a new flavour of it tomorrow, perhaps gingerbread? ~M
