Fab Tip for the Kids!!!!!!!🤾♂️🤸♀️🤸♂️👨👩👧👪👨👧👦👨👩👧👧 I'm far from a perfect Dad or Parent trust me, but I do know as a parent it is my job to try to give my kids the best opportunity to build good eating habits at a young age, and I'm in control at home. We still enjoy pizza and burgers for the record!!😂 Healthy eating habits are more likely to stay with you if you learn them as a child. That’s why it’s important that you teach your children good habits now. It will help them stick with these eating patterns as they grow older if we are lucky. "Eat better to perform better"
Things to consider
There are a number of tips available on how to get your child to eat nutritious food. Above all, the best way to help your child with nutrition is to encourage healthy habits.
Be a role model. Kids eat the way you eat and your child will be more likely to eat that way too.
Start them young. Food preferences develop early in life. Expose your child to different kinds of food early on, and continue as they grow older.
Focus on overall diet. Instead of focusing on specific foods, focus on eating patterns. Provide as much whole, minimally processed food when you can.
What's in your kids lunch box?? My son's typical lunch box below!! Good fats: help brain function, nuts in the granola bar and cheese to sneak more calories in for his active growing body
Protein and carbs, help with energy and the protein keeps him full longer
Veggie or fruit option is a carrot too just to keep that fiber up and get a little of extra vitamins in his body besides his food base multi vitamin
Chips, more carbs for that active boy😂 ⛔I try hard to stay away from heavy food dyes and heavily processed foods that have no nutritional value when I can!! I hope this helps 😉
