It’s Sunday and I know I’m starting to hit a wall at the gym….. I’m so sore and starting to feel fatigued😫 It happens to all of us!! Here are some ways to recognize when you need to take a break and give your body some well-deserved REST. ⁣⁣

➖The moodiness and loss of appetite is starting to sink in. ⁣⁣

Schedule rest days for yourself! Taking 1 or 2 days off each week will allow your body the time it needs to recover. Strength and endurance happens in recovery!! If the idea of taking a day off gives you anxiety, try low impact exercises like yoga or swimming. 🧘🏼‍♀️🏊🏻‍♀️⁣⁣

Matcha lattes have been my jam lately 🍵⠀

This recipe is inspired by the lovely @alittlelesstoxic!⠀

Okay, here we gooooo:⠀
⠀
RECIPE:⠀
⠀
- Hot water in your favorite mug (preferably filtered water) ⠀
- 1 tsp of your favorite matcha ⠀
- 1 TBS of coconut oil⠀
- 1 tsp of honey (I honestly don’t measure I just do what feels right)⠀
- splash of your fav milk. I use organic half & half! ⠀
- optional add ins: Ceylon cinnamon, or Himalayan pink salt⠀
⠀
DIRECTIONS:⠀
⠀
Just add all of that goodness into your matcha and then take a frother and froth for a few seconds until it’s all foamy and delicious 😋⠀

I love to drink this as my afternoon pick me up/treat as it doesn’t give me to jitters or the hard crash that coffee does!⠀
