You don’t have to be a morning person to jump out of your bed joyfully.
I hear some of my clients and friends complaining about their mornings: having not much energy, being in a bad mood, looking for excuses, craving sweets and coffee to ease the “pain”.. I have been there a few years ago and I can still have some periods of those.. so I was wondering: What is the difference between those weeks when I am not a morning person at all and when I am so cheerful and energised in the morning? We can not say it is only biology anymore.. or “I am just like that.” .
Here is what I found:
1.PURPOSE: Once you are living your purpose, using your gifts and contribute to something bigger than just your bank account you are much more looking forward to start the day.
2.RELATIONSHIPS: When you surround yourself with people who have the same values as you and have more positive energy, when you are choosing to work with clients you like, when you are setting healthy boundaries with your friends , colleagues and family, you are much more balanced and loving.
3.SELF-CARE: If you decide to take care of your well-being (body, mind and soul) every single day, changes your life totally. You will not only have more energy, but you will also find inner peace in the most chaotic periods of your life. Just a few minutes a day will do and you will feel the difference.
4.ENVIRONMENT: Get to know yourself to find out which environments inspire you. Is it the view you need or cosy decoration or being close to nature? Bring more of it into your every day! Schedule meetings in places which feel good to you, take a longer break walking in the nature or just spend 10 minutes on the terrace of your office enjoying the view.
YOU DECIDE HOW YOU ARE SPENDING YOUR DAYS AND HOW YOU WANNA FEEL EVERY SINGLE DAY.
