✨Don’t make yourself wrong if you don’t feel like creating - new moon musings
Our creativity and bodies go through cycles, as with everything in this form-based universe. Just like the seasons, the tides and the phases of the moon, you’re very much a part of nature, down to your very cells. Our society only prizes us when we’re in full bloom. Were more comfortable with pushing than allowing, with being linear than cyclic; we’re more comfortable in summer mode, when we’re outward, full of ideas and creations are going. When there’s not enough motivation in us to create or achieve, we start believing something’s wrong. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do not compare your winter to someone else’s summer. Resist the urge to compare yourself to the output of others –– instead, stay true to your own inner nudges. It’s in winter, the dark phase of the moon when you’re stripped bare of what’s not essential, leaving you to discover your true power. This is when you’re closest to your inner wisdom. This is the time to bunker down, get quiet and listen; to rest, reflect and download the blueprint for the next cycle. It’s okay to not feel inspired and do what you love during this time—perhaps your body, family or your spirit needs tending to right now. This is the time to just experience what’s happening around you, to process and heal. Inner winters hold many gifts. It’s challenging but it’s also when you’re deeply transforming.
