I may be biased towards Turkish coffee, but it's the best coffee I've had so far. From the the time it takes and the way the Turks prepare it to get that smooth texture. It's got love written all over it. Carefully take your sips with this drink because it's a quick one to finish.
I was super impressed by their fresh pomegranate juice. It is super tart and sweet; have a mix with orange juice if you're looking to time down the tartness. Make sure to enjoy this freshly squeezed in front of you outside of a small shop or stand.
Most of the restaurants I've been to have had great cocktail drinks, although I only had virgin ones. P2 was mint, pomegranate and ginger 👌. Don't worry about forgetting to drink tea, the Turks won't stop remind you. Every hotel check in, after every meal, or trying clothes at their shop. It's always an occasion for tea.
Last but least, the Sahlep. It's a mix between custard and milk. A creamy drink topped with cinnamon and depending the place, they may add pistachio. It's very delicious and especially good when it's cold out, as it will warm your insides beautifully.
