God has been shaking the world the past few months, and what we see in the US now is another type of shaking, while the nation is still grappling with Covid-19. Other nations are shaking with their own domestic issues at this time.
It seems so simple if people would just live their lives according to The Bible, then most of our problems wouldn't be the way they are- if we'd love our neighbor as ourselves, etc. The riots in Minneapolis, of Blacks taking to the streets and burning a police precinct are stemming from centuries of pain that Blacks have felt, wounds caused by the White man that go way back to the 1600s. These wounds are unable to heal because the disease of racism persists. I would encourage Whites to listen and really open your eyes, then speak up and don't stay silent. Your silence is also a part of the problem, and a part of the wounds that Blacks have felt for centuries. White America may think Black men being killed is a Black problem “so sad, but it’s not my problem, besides what can I do about it?” But I’d argue that Black men getting killed in your country is your problem too, it’s also your history, your nation and you should care and speak up. Maybe if we all start speaking up, Blacks and Whites and say no more, the issue will get seriously dealt with.
The part of riots where people are looting, I don't agree with. But, in this shaking I ask Blacks and Whites who have knowledge of God, to press into 2 Chronicles 7:14. To speak up against racism of any kind, to repent and be humble where needed, turn from racism, and truly seek the face of God then He will hear from Heaven and heal our land.
We must be shaken so we can wake up and hopefully be healed. A lot of moving forward is in our hands, and God can only do so much until we do our part and repent and turn from our evil ways. God bless America, I still have hope and believe in her. She is one of the best nations on earth. I say this because I have been to some nations that are terrible and I'm grateful that I come from a much better nation ❤! - 2 hours ago
