➰upside down vs upright styling ➰
Somebody had a great washday today! And by great, I mean crazily awesome! And by that I mean - look at it!
I’d even claim I know the reason why... wanna know?
These two pics were taken just 4 days apart and I am -once again, like so many times before- absolutely stunned by how technique affects the results of my washdays.
In the right picture, I tried upright styling in order to get more defined curls in the back as this was something that didn’t work great the last few washes.
Although I followed some tips for volume, I did not achieve it. The result is rather wavy than curly and that’s absolutely fine with me, I like the casual waves. What I sure did not like at all was the hair loss I suffered that wash - but that’s another story... But I had not forgotten my aim of curls in the back, so I figured I might go back to styling upside down (as I did most of the time) and scrunch as much as I could and ensure all product was distributed evenly.
I guess I‘m going to keep my styling routine upside down as I feel this holds up so much better and does not weigh my hair down as much.
How do you prefer to style, upright or upside down?
