We are never taught when we are younger, to take time for ourselves and be with ourselves and our thoughts. Since, we are not taught that, it doesn’t come as natural to us as we grow into being an adult.
And when we do end up having time for it, we like to distract ourselves by listening to music, or watching tv. Silence is not good or healthy to our minds, because (like I said) we weren’t taught that it’s okay!
