This is my ethos. Aubrey Marcus talks about having an ethos in his book which is what led me to create one for myself. It helps me get through challenging emotions, thoughts, and situations (when I can remember it in the moment rather than hindsight lol).
Breathe - find the present moment. Breathe deeply. Everything is okay.
Accept - accept that this reality is happening. The more we fight back the more we suffer. Accept things as they are and that you’re a human being, it’s okay to feel this way.
Trust - trust that this is happening for you, not to you. It’s all part of the process. There is a lesson.
Observe - be the witness. You are not the thoughts, you are the thinker of them. Sit back and watch them come through.
Focus - focus on what you can control. Your attitude. Your mindset. Your action.
Love - remind yourself of your true nature. Remember that there is a foundation where we always are, our egos just tend to distract us. Be Love.
Surrender - The desire for control creates more resistance, and the idea of external control is just an illusion anyways. Let go and let it flow. - 17 minutes ago
