Hi All, Fabe here with a brief look at the second installment to the CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths. It was entertaining over all. Some great high points and some low points.
Sorry for any spoilers, but we’re all adults here but turn away of you must. 🙈
All things Brandon Routh was amazing as Superman, I want to see a show about THAT Superman. And the goosie feels of the classic John Williams score along with Routh’s Superman was incredible. Again another great homage to Donner’s/Chris Reeve Superman.
Tom Welling and Erica Durance as Lois and Clark from the Smallville universe felt that it was a great way to close that chapter.
Now next to the excitement of seeing Routh as the Kingdom Come Superman, when I heard the iconic Kevin “Batman” Conroy voice as he walks down those steps and in the exo skeleton suit from Kingdom Come as the broken, beaten, aged Bat/Bruce Wayne was goosie feels and wetness all over. ❤💦
BUT! The way they handled his version and back story, WTF?! The Batman crosses the code and kills. I get the Batman does have some deaths under his belt, but this version of Bruce Wayne seemed more retired serial killer than crime fighter. Shame on the writers. And very poorly handled.
It’s Kevin Fucking Conroy! The legendary voice of the Batman and you kill him off the way you did?! I felt like I was punched in the balls with that. 👊😖
Let’s now push on to the third installment.
