We will be forced to adapt.
Our routines, our lifestyles, our goals.
Our wants. Our aspirations.
What was once possible is no longer so.
Despite our plans, and our work, and our sacrifices.
And we’re grieving.
“This isn’t the way it’s supposed to be”, we think.
This isn’t what we had PLANNED.
Well, the Universe doesn’t care what we had planned or what we were trying to “manifest”.
Our thoughts, as much as new-age charlatans want us to believe, do not control events.
But they can control our emotions.
They can control how we perceive and react to an event.
And this is where our adaptation must happen for us to carry on.
How we see this current situation and ourselves in it:
Are we victims of this wildly unfair pandemic?
Or are we finding a new way to live and be in this new world.
Things may never go back to the way they were before and we have to learn how to be okay with that.
Despite what we wanted before.
Despite what we worked for before.
Despite what we were striving for before.
That was then and this is now.
And now is always where we find ourselves.
