6 wks ago I had 2 choices.
1. Couch Queen. Sit on my ass stuffing my face with Tim Tams in between remote work & Netflix, or
2. Bikini Queen. Whip my body back into shape with @bodiesbyrachel at home workouts & focus on eating #healthy & #weightloss .
The results speak for themselves 👑 and I am proud of myself for choosing the latter. It’s the first program I’ve done where I haven’t lost my #curves like little sacrificial lambs in the process! If anything I’m popping out where I should now instead of where I shouldn’t. While my thighs will always be my source of contention 🤦♀️the fact I can see definition on them is a freaking first! .
Not gonna lie and say it was easy. It takes real f**ing commitment at my age to get into #shape because unlike when I was in my 20 & 30s and could literally eat anything I wanted without it sliding down my thighs...now it takes major will power + effort to undo the mistakes of the past. The loose belly skin from treating myself like a helium balloon 🎈with my #fitness yo yo journey the last few years is a lot harder to shake these days too. (Cue the home spray tan). .
If you are like me 6 weeks ago where you’re teetering on the edge of making the right choice over a bad choice, get up off your ass girl and start lifting some weights! It’s never going to come to you! You gotta take it by the horns and say ‘I got this. I can do this. Because I #deserve this!’ The only thing I messed up was the timing. Summer said goodbye a little while ago & for those who think it’s all sunshine and beach weather in winter in #australia ...I’m sorry but 16C is c.o.l.d to be standing outside in a #bikini . 👙So I’ll just be the weirdo to my neighbours inside standing by the heater in my bikini! .
And by the time #summer does show her #pretty face again, I’ll have found my #abs ! So there’s that!
For all the #bbr Queens who took this journey, congrats girls! We did it and we’ll keep doing it! Being our best selves! .
