¿Sabías que en muchas ocasiones la acidez y el reflujo se dan por falta de ácido y no por exceso?

El esfinter esofagico inferior (EEI), la válvula que separa el esófago del estómago, se cierra por diferencia de presión entre esas dos estructuras. Un aumento de la presión intraabdominal puede hacer que la válvula no cierre bien y el contenido del estómago pase al esófago, ocasionando los síntomas mencionados anteriormente.

También pueden aparecer:
🔹Ronquera.
🔹Dolor en el esternón.
🔹Tos.
🔹Dificultad para tragar.

Cuando hay poco ácido en el estómago (hipoclorhidria) se produce una digestión deficiente de los alimentos que llegan a él, generándose hinchazón y gases, que aumentan la presión intraabdominal y provocan que el EEI no cierre bien.

Normalmente cuando vamos al médico y le decimos que tenemos ardor o reflujo, este pauta inhibidores de la bomba de protones (omeprazol), antiácidos (almax) o anti-H2.

❌Todos ellos empeoran la hipoclorhidria, aunque pueden, temporalmente, aliviar los síntomas.

La hipoclorhidria puede ser causa de 🦠 #disbiosis intestinal, #sibo, #candidas, etc. Puesto que una de las funciones más importantes del ácido gástrico es matar a todo bicho viviente que llegue a él.

❗La hipoclorhidria no es la única causa de que el EEI funcione mal. Algunos fármacos, la obesidad, tensiones musculares y fasciales, determinados alimentos como el café, enfermedades neurológicas... también pueden dañar su función.

Por este motivo un buen diagnóstico es esencial para poder atacar el problema desde la raíz y no dedicarnos a poner parches.

INGREDIENTS
*Onion(chopped) -1 (medium size)
*Dhania pudina (mint& coriander)- 1/2 cup
*Zeera (cumin seeds) - 1 tea spoon
*Black pepper- 6-7 pieces
*Green chili- 1
*Rock salt (Pink salt) - 1/2 tea spoon
*White salt- to taste
*Lemon - 1/2 squeeze

METHOD
1) Onion +mint & coriander+ zeera + Black pepper+ green chili+ pink salt= Grind till you form a smooth paste
(Add few drops of water only if required)

2) (1) + white salt = Mix
.
3) (2) + lemon squeeze = mix well
.
4)Pour in a jar and store away.

 A simple dish, to compliment your overall food anytime of the day you like.
