TO BE KILLED 2/22/20
MILEY - the happy hearted, tail wagging, toy Queen!
Gentle, modest, unassuming, waggy and kind, MILEY is such a good, sweet girl. She is so happy for company, so grateful for time spent with the volunteers so she can get out of doors and take a walk. Eager to explore, to take advantage of her time to enjoy smelling leaves & grass & trees, she is an easygoing, happy hearted companion who is a joy to be around. As a volunteer writes: “So, first off, this pretty 9-years-young Gal smells soooo good! She marches right beside me as we walk. She know her commands, Sit, Stay...for a treat, of course!!! Bonus, she's housebroken! Miley LOVES having her head scratched and can sit on a bench with you for hours. She's curious like she may have a little hound dog in her, but she's quick to be attentive to her human when called. She is also very Dog-curious, seeming very interested in her fellow #doggos . An all around delight to walk & spend time with, my Gurl Miley.... she ain't no Wreckin' Ball!” Delightfully sweet & ready for her new family, let’s not make this darling girl wait another moment. Hurry and #foster or #adopt her now.

Owner Surrender Reason:owner surrender on 1/18/2020, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- homeless.
AT RISK behavioral reasons. Miley came to us as an owner surrender after her owner fell on hard times. At the ACC Miley has displayed a low threshold for arousal and is easily overstimulated. While in her foster home, Miley did mildly bite her foster as a result of handling & touch sensitivities. Miley best suited for placement with a new hope partner ; provide the necessary behavior modification & reward based training. Miley has potential, but will need to go to a home EXPERIENCED with these types of behaviors as well as an understanding that she will need a slow approach to help her acclimate.
