Do you like dark chocolate? Because if you don’t…don’t eat it! You never have to eat foods you don’t like it. Everything is fair game when you embrace an 80/20 healthy eating pattern.

It’s recommended that added sugars should NOT exceed 10% of daily caloric intake. I usually recommend less than this. On a 2000kcal diet 10% is ≈12 tsp added sugar. Chocolate contains:
🍫1oz dark chocolate: ≈ 1.5-2tsp
🍫1oz milk chocolate: ≈ 3-4tsp
🍫1oz white chocolate: ≈ 4-5tsp

Dark chocolate (depending on the cocoa %) is a better choice, but you can still eat others. More emphasis on portion size & chocolate quality is important.

Das perfekte Rührei. 😀👌 Ich hab da einen Tipp für euch, wie es gelingt wie das Rührei vom Frühstücksbuffet im Urlaub. ❤

REZEPT:
5 große frische Eier 
1 EL Butter 
Pfeffer & Salz 
Nach Belieben Schnittlauch 
Die Eier miteinander verquirlen. Die Butter schmelzen und lauwarm abkühlen lassen. Dann beides miteinander verrühren! 
In einer Pfanne etwas Öl erhitzen und das Rührei auf mittlerer Hitze garen, bis die Unterseite fest wird. Dann bereits einmal mit einem Schaber vom Boden lösen. Einfach den Schaber ein paar mal durch die Masse schieben. Erneut garen bis die Unterseite fest ist und ggf. noch einmal, sollte es oben noch nicht durch sein. Das Ei ist fertig, wenn es einfach nur "durch" ist und noch schön glänzt. Nicht zu feste anbraten! Dadurch wird es unnötig trocken.
Mit Salz und Pfeffer würzen und wer mag mit Schnittlauchröllchen bestreuen.
Probiert es aus. Die Butter ist der Trick! :) Ihr werdet es lieben. 😀 
Und natürlich klappt es in der Pampered Chef Pfanne super gut! 😀👍🏻😉 Es haftet NICHTS an! 👌

In our opinion, these findings dispute the more recent studies and support the traditional notion that too much sodium in the diet is just plain risky.

Even if you don’t suffer from hypertension or diabetes (yet), the fact that most Americans consume an excess of 3,400mg of sodium a day can tell us a whole lot about what we’re putting into our bodies and exactly what we’re leaving out: too much processed food and not enough of the fresh, wholesome good stuff.

I don’t think I have EVER formally introduced myself! My name is Lisa, and I am lucky enough to be able to create wonderful gluten-free, dairy-free meals for our amazing community each week. .
This business was started out of my own need to eat better while juggling a busy schedule that included commuting for work, while handling my food sensitivities. I literally felt sick having to stop in at a fast food restaurant, where options for gluten and diary free where almost non-existent. .
As I find myself getting older, I have also realized the importance of eating well, consistently. Hence, this business was also born out of a goal to support other families that make it a priority to eat well and consistently each week.

Quite often I get asked how our meal system works. 👉Our menu changes weekly (to offer variety).
👉Meals are approximately 400-600 calories, and are meant to maintain overall general health, NOT a quick fix diet plan.
👉Orders can be any combination of any amount of the meals that appeal to you.
👉All of our meals are made by hand, fresh, each Sunday and delivered that afternoon.

If I feel the slightest bit run down, like I'm going to get sick, or I'm super tired, I fiercely protect my sleep. I shoot for 11-12 hours sleep - so going to bed ridiculously early or sleeping in.⁠

I think the social norm is go, go, go until you absolutely can't take it anymore and you're sicker than a dog! It doesn't always work out....sometimes I still get sick, but I'm okay with however my sleeping might be perceived by others.⁠

1 lb shrimp(455 g)⁣⠀
1 tsp salt⁣⠀
½ tsp pepper⁣⠀
1 tsp garlic powder⁣⠀

Spotted this beautiful array of veggies yesterday at a neighborhood kirana store and I had to capture the rainbow colors that this represents! .

But do we really consume, what we see? Have been reading lately that the source, methods of farming, the number of days vegetables remain in my refrigerator, ways of cooking etc determine the nutrient value in fruits and veggies that I end up eventually consuming... and it's most definitely much lower than what is there in the original produce 😬😬
