Where would we be if @keto.sam.iam never made the simple cooking swap to @fooddreamer cream cheese pancake recipe?
#Eggloaf is a staple in our house. Lennyn eats it most mornings for breakfast, and it's the perfect food to have for something to grab and go. It is so easily reminiscent of French toast sticks by popping the slices in the air fryer, or pan frying in a little butter.
THE BEST PART:
This recipe base is the most forgiving and versatile recipe that I have experimented with. I tweak the recipe significantly to modify the macros, and it never disappoints.
In place of cream cheese you can use:
To increase the protein:
Add some protein powder. I've been using @mynaturalforce vanilla bone broth #protein lately, and we are loving it.
To get a light and flakey crust:
Add @zintnutrition gelatin, and enjoy the health benefits of this supplement at the same time.
Anything is possible with @oooflavors and/or extracts.
Want to lower the fat?
Leave the butter out of the recipe, or drastically reduce it.
Don't worry if you run out of baking powder, it isn't a necessary ingredient.
I strongly urge you to play around with this recipe to suit your nutrition needs. I have yet to find a combo that resulted in a fail, so egg loaf on #ketofam and have some fun!
