This question posed so gently... with potentially deep or heavy answers...
...so it’s softened because I’ve realized that the honest answers to this brings so many people to their knees with pain... whether it’s physical or emotional.
.
It’s the heaviness attached to these answers that make us numb ourselves all the way to the day we die. .
Grim? Perhaps... okay, yes. 
But it’s what so many of us do when we let fear win and we set our hearts aside in the name of preventing “yet another” painful regret.
.
...But what if trying again for what you want to achieve doesn’t equal pain *this* time? (And you choose *that* until it’s your truth.)
.
What if we really do have to remember to get back up just one more time than we fall in order to have our hearts desires become our reality? Instead of...*settling*. 😳
.
And what if all that it takes is the courage to consciously not let the falls deter us from trying again *with* the wisdom we’ve gained since our last bunch of falls to the ground? (I mean, babies do it, for goodness sake... why do we as adults freeze up in terror or even self righteousness to the mere thought of an “I’ll try again”?)

I feel like so often when women become wives, or when they become mothers they lose themselves. I know, I had a hard time after I became I mother. I felt like I lost myself. Becoming a mother has been the greatest gift I have ever been given, but at the same time I wanted to feel like me again.

No doubt becoming a wife or a mother changes your life, but it shouldn’t take away every piece of you. Once I realized 30 minutes a day is all I needed to spend on myself to make myself feel like me again, it’s been a game changer. Mentally and emotionally I am so much happier.  All it took was that small change! Everyone has at least 30 minutes a day they can prioritize on themselves.

So often people comment about my weight, or my figure and how they notice a change. But the change that has been the most noticeable to myself and my family is my emotional and mental state. It feels good knowing every day I’m living a healthier lifestyle, and getting to spend a little time on me.

Fear of abandonment is the overwhelming worry that people close to you will leave. 𝘈𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 can develop a fear of abandonment. It can be deeply rooted in a traumatic experience you had as a child or a distressing relationship in adulthood. ⁣
⁣
The intense fear of being abandoned is something that is shared almost across the board with those who suffer from a mental illness, especially those with BPD, Avoidant Personality Disorder, and Separation Anxiety Disorder. ⁣

Up here I’ve featured some humans who experience fear of abandonment, and they want you to know what it’s like to live with it. ⁣

As part of the Holistic Science of Sleep approach, we take diet and nutrition into consideration when completing evaluations.  Some people struggle with the idea that they may be intolerant to a food and because of this, they struggle to believe their child could be intolerant to a food. To be honest, I am still surprised sometimes by the outright denial that a child can be intolerant to a food

Intolerance and allergies are not the same - even though the terms are sometimes used interchangeably. A food that is an allergy provokes an immune system reaction whereas an intolerance is often limited to digestive difficulties.  However, intolerance can cause several other symptoms as well

This is a very small sample study but  an internet search will find so many more. Also, there is a link between cow’s milk AND sheep’s/goat’s milk– meaning that substituting cow’s milk with goat’s milk will still cause symptoms in some children

Why does this matter? Because as you can see from this study (which was done in 1985! That is how long we have known about this link – if not longer!)when these infants with “chronic insomnia” ( the inability to fall asleep or stay asleep) where taken off cow’s milk their sleep normalized within 2 weeks and increased to a median of 10 hours with only occasional wakings! This matter because so often I work with families who have been told to “sleep train harder” when there is an underlying food intolerance at play

Sleep is generally not the only symptom and is often found with constipation, runny stool, congestion, dry cough in absence of a cold, rashes, hives and others

Finding the root of the sleep challenge, at any age is the most important step toward optimal success
