Welcome to April! .
The first, is known as April Fool's Day (its exact origins remain a mystery).... but consider this instead. .
Embrace your mistakes and move on. .
Part of taking risks is being able to learn from your mistakes. Use your misstep as a starting point toward something new and consider the current experiences as a gentle reminder of what you need to do. .
As we all practice social distancing, consider this, reflect upon your previous leadership mistakes (I caution you. This is not from a space of condemnation), answer what you would do differently, take action, and move forward. .
Give yourself grace and remember, you will make a mistake again, it may even be the same mistake, this is a part of growth. .
One final thought, instead of trying to hide or make excuses, consider what you can take away from the experiences as you go forward. .
And now there's nothing foolish about that... - 58 minutes ago
