Our first 8 week challenge at the Milwaukee Lakefront location has concluded. We are so proud of all of our members for their efforts and we have some amazing results we’d like to share with our community. Our overall male transformation winner was Karl Schroepfer (you can follow him on instagram @schroepferkarl )We asked Karl a few questions about how he achieved such amazing results in just 8 weeks with the F45 Challenge 24. Check out his responses below:
1)Aside from losing 23 lbs and 12% bodyfat, how has the 8 week challenge impacted your life?
A-This challenge has really shifted my perspective. I was extremely intimidated by this challenge but now I see the meal plans and the constraints as being helpful tools instead of challenges to overcome. It was nice to not have to figure out what to eat on a given day. I see it as one less burden which let's me focus on other things.
2) What was the key/s to your success with the 8 week challenge?
A-The real key to my success was doing exactly what I was supposed to do. I followed the meal plan, I didn't drink, and I prioritized the workouts to make sure I was there most days. It turns out that the people designing the program know what they're doing.
3) What was your biggest struggle during the 8 weeks and how did you overcome it?
A-The biggest struggle was working the meal plan around social obligations. I had to pack a cooler a couple times when heading out of town and I had to get creative with trying to go on dates or out with friends.
4) What advice do you have for anyone interested in taking on the 8 week challenge?
A-The real trick is to NOT give yourself options. Don't look at the instructions of the challenge as optional but rather as requirements. I also have been teaching myself to not look at workouts as a plan. What I mean by that is if all I did was work and go to the gym that day then I did not have a busy day. With travel it's really only about an hour of your day and shouldn't impact your availability to friends and family. Lastly it's important to look at 8 weeks as being insignificant. There is nothing you can't do for 8 weeks.
Great work Karl! We are so very impressed with your focu - 1 minute ago
